On February 5th 2005 I embarked on a journey that would show me how to love, be loved, and share two lives as one. Her name is Kaitlin O'Leary, and we have been dating for nearly two years now. I still remember those days in early February of 2005 as if they were yesterday. (After being stood up two or three times!) I finally had the chance to be with her on a mini-date. We met in the late morning at her dorm room where we watched a few movies. The key event of that morning came when I conducted a masterful technique--beware only the professional can attempt this--as we cuddled on the ground, I playfully tickled Kaitlin (not too much though). I continued to tickle Kaitlin until she moved closer and closer and closer to me. The final tickle (as I planned) would land her lips to mine, and this was the moment our first kissed occurred. They say you can see fireworks when you kiss someone special; if that's the case, I saw the Atom Bomb. There was something special about Kaitlin, and I knew it from the beginning. The next day we began our lives as Kaitlin & Nick, and that decision will always be the best one I have and will ever make.
Kaitlin and I will be sharing our 2 Year Anniversary next month, and I hope that I can show her how much these past two years have changed me for the better. I know I have not been the best boyfriend that I am capable of being, and I want to prove to her she means more than me than life itself. In the next few months or so, who knows, maybe I will be showing her the ultimate "I love you." But we will have to wait and see. Until then, I will continue to love and grow with Kaitlin and show her that she is my world.

I love you sooo much. You are the best boyfriend in the entire world. Seriously reading this meant more to me than you will ever know. I keep reading it over and over, and I told you it would turn into a cute story one day. You are my world, my heart, my soul. I miss you so much and we have only been apart six hours. This is going to be the longest week of my life. I love you!!!!!!
